Wilpattu National Park
Wilpattu National Park is one of the most beautiful parks located on the Sri Lanak. This is situated 180 km. north of Colombo (50 km east of the Anuradhapura and located 26 km north of Puttalam). Willpattu covers about 1908 sq.km. and spans the border between the North Central and North Western Province.. There are numerous delightful little lakes known as “Kali Villu”. The leopard and sloth bear are the specialty rather than elephants. Wilpattu is the largest and the on of the oldest National Park in Sri Lanka.
